This was my first ‘accidental’ selfie; taken long before the idea of a selfie was even a thing. Or so I thought, I looked this up and the first known usage of the word ‘selfie’ (for self portraits) was on 13 September 2002. The term was added to the Oxford Dictionary in 2013.
