20/10/09: Thieves Market, Singapore

Posted on 15/04/2025 by goosespringsteen

Thieves Market, in Singapore, is a unique spot which stands out like a sore thumb. Singapore is notorious for it’s clean, organised, and clutter free public spaces. This pop up market, which sells random bric-a-brac and generic junk, is the opposite of organised cleanliness. Unlike the rest of Singapore, there are no clear rules here. Sellers turn up, put a cloth on the floor (or not), and throw down any old junk.
